This past Sunday I got to spend a little over an hour and a half with these fine young ladies! Kai, myself, Megs and Tiff!

Prayers for Bodie/Fundraiser

Image
So. This week, I got my first experience with calling in a vet for a wounded horse. The veterinarians twitching (and sedating) Bodie to check his wound. Bodie has decided this was the week he would experiment with "what happens when you stick your back hoof through the fence and cut it with wire". In short, Bodie nearly cut his hoof off and now has a wound that goes through his heel into his hoof, it's about two inches deep. I found him standing under his shelter Thursday morning around six when I came out to ride before I went to work. Promptly calling the vet, we had them come out and waited anxiously to find what was to become of my favorite Bodie boy. Bodie's wound. That is about two inches deep, I believe. Not sure, they just told me it goes reallyyyyy far in there. It's never good when the vet comes out, takes one look at your horse's leg, and instead of telling you that you'd overreacted and he'll be fine, comments, "Oh. That...

The Room Remodel!

Image
So this is going to be a short, short text post because I'm in the middle of writing a speech for this Thursday, (I am the guest speaker for the Sons of Norway  organization here in our area! SQUEEAAAAAAAALLLLL and freaking out! ;D) but since I finally finished decorating my new room, I thought I'd share pictures of it! Basically I got moved to the basement with sister A and we're loving our new room. :) We had to do a lot of remodeling to get it done, but thanks to mom and dad we're in here and we enjoy our decorations and bedroom and everything! So a tour of my room, hope you enjoy. Also please forgive the pictures, they're a bit bad quality. I don't have a good camera. :P  DUN DUN! Entrance to our room!

A Dedicating Celebratory Concerning Event

Image
Originally this post was going to be dedicated to my favorite hen, Twinkie, who passed away in her sleep yesterday. Then I got my Mornelly book back from my editor with exciting news. And after that, it became apparent something was seriously wrong on the horizon when I looked out the door and saw smoke billowing up behind the hills where we live. So this is a three way post, called a "Dedicating Celebratory Concerning Event". It's a dedication to my favorite hen, a celebration of the fact I get to start once more working on the Mornellys, and a concern because, well, there's three fires all around us. Okay so let's start with Twinkie.

The Movie Tag!

Image
Yes, kill me if you wish. It really did take me this long to get to this tag. I'm afraid I have such a hard time getting around to these. XD However I finally got to this one, and if I recall right the honor goes to Rebekah Eddy from Rebekah's Remarks for tagging me in this. So thank you, Rebekah. Now here we go. The Rules: Answer the questions Tag 3 to 5 people 1.Who are your favorite actor(s)? Tom Hanks Ooo this is a difficult question. Hmm. Tom Hanks, for one, known for his voicing Woody in Toy Story and also playing as Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks and is the protagonist James Donovan in Bridge of Spies.
