Assignment 7: Write this Piece!

Wowy wow wow wow, I can't believe I'm finally ready to host another "Write this Piece!" music assignment. Sorry I haven't done one of these in so long. I think I have a bit of time before NaNoWriMo begins next month to judge one assignment. :)

Alrighty, for you who are familiar with this assignment, just listen to the song and send in your pieces via my email (if you have it) or the blogger contact form. Otherwise, here are the rules for newbies and to refresh everyone's memory:


1) Listen to the music.
2) Write what you think of when you listen to the music (please no longer than two paragraphs (or four hundred words), otherwise I have a ton of reading to do. :D)
3) Send the clip to me via email, Google+ or the Blogger Contact Form.
4) If you're uncomfortable giving out your email, you can use the fake email I created specifically for this purpose: notrealfakemail@yahoo.com
Simply insert this email into the space where it says "Email" on the Blogger Contact Form and fire away.
5) Be sure to include your name or pen-name on your clip, so I know who it belongs to. :)

Entries are due Sunday, November 1st. Hope you enjoy this song, it's one of my favorites. Can't wait to see what you awesome writers come up with for this one!

      Glad you're excited! I LOVE THIS SONG TOO! It's one of my FAVORITES! I will have to post the Romanized version of it sometime so all of you can hear that one. It's so sad... :')

      Good! Can't wait to see what you write, Kaitlyn! Polyuhshko Polie (or Polyushka Polye, depending on what version you listen to) is probably one of my top favorite songs ever.

I promised you all I would let you hear the real Russian song, Polyushko Polye, so here it is! in Crylic it's  Полюшкo Поле. Earlier I got a request from one of the readers for the sheet music because she couldn't find it online, so it you would like to find the sheet music you have to write in Russian полюшко поле ноты для пианино, which literally translates as "Field my field (or meadowland) notes to piano". You won't find the sheet music in English, but the notes are the same no matter what language you speak. ;D  I'd like it to be noted that this song has been around for a long  time now (1933) and since then it has gone through several spelling and name changes changes. Gif Challenge!

Wow. Okay, so I got a lot more of a feedback than I was expecting on that challenge, and some of those questions, eep! ;) However I promised a gif response, and here we go! It's About Time...For an Update!

Goodness I expected to blog so much more after I got married because I thought my life would slow down. Nope, I was wrong. XD Heelloooo blog readers! Long time no see! So, where to begin on updates? Right after our first kiss! Rifka and Lina! Lucas and I got married on February 2nd and have now been happily married for eight months to the day. We have moved once since we've gotten married and have acquired two new family members---Rifka our Karelian Bear Dog/Shetland Sheepdog mix and Lina, our crazy tri-colored tabby with far too much energy for a normal cat! Over the last eight months, I have been sick with the flu, mono, and countless colds and sinus infections but since seem to be on the rise with better health, a huge praise! Lucas was promoted at his job and is now a foreman, and enjoys making jokes about how unbearably hard and cruel of a foreman he is. (Lucas being bossy is the farthest thing from his personality as could be humanely possible.) Lu
