Happy New Year

I'm sitting at my computer. It's twelve-thirty-six, my friend is getting ready for bed. We watched Fiddler on the Roof with my family, drank sparkling cider and shot off fireworks at midnight. We watched the minute dial turn on the clock and strike twelve. It's another year. Another year to laugh, to cry, to love. Another year to discover what God has in store with us. What does He want to do in your life?

Again, I like to outline my New Years goals. Some I will reuse from last year. Others are new. Whatever the case, if God wants me to accomplish these He will guide me and help me through it.

Have a wonderful New Year.

1) Read through the entire Bible and highlight verses that stand out to me

2) Gain a better relationship with Bodie

3) Do the best job I can at my first book pitch (and that I don't chicken out at the pitch!)

4) Get a job

5) Learn to trust in the Lord with all my heart, soul and strength

6) Compete in Mounted Orienteering and Competitive Trail with Bodie

7) Learn to give up and give to God what I cannot do on my own

8) Do a full year of journaling without missing a day

9) Learn to keep quiet and control my tongue

10) To trust God to guide and mature me down the path of maturity and adulthood

I've had far too many favorite pictures this year taken of me. But this one is special to me because my big brother Walter took the photo. So I decided to spotlight this photo as my "Year in Review" photo. Thank you to all my friends and family who've taken time to capture memories with me in the form of photography.
