Friends

Ever have a friend that no matter what you can always count on them to cheer you up? I have been blessed with many such friends through my entire life, and today was another reminder how I need to thank God for such wonderful friends and family.

This past week I got the flu. Not a fun thing to get at all, I've been in bed for the last three days. So a dear friend who knew I was sick decided to cheer me up a little this morning and sent me this lovely email.

Here's Your Immune Booster! This is actually my Breakfast. :D

Now, this friend has known me since we were five years old and is very well aware how I feel about Immune Boosters. I got a good laugh out of this, knowing she was teasing me to make me feel better. Knowing it was a joke, I decided to play along and sent her this reply.

It's good to have friends I can count on to make me feel better, no matter how sick I may be!

    I'm sorry you got sick! I hope you feel better! Our family has been sick as well. It's like the germs have a New Years resolution to hit as much people as possible!

I promised you all I would let you hear the real Russian song, Polyushko Polye, so here it is! in Crylic it's  Полюшкo Поле. Earlier I got a request from one of the readers for the sheet music because she couldn't find it online, so it you would like to find the sheet music you have to write in Russian полюшко поле ноты для пианино, which literally translates as "Field my field (or meadowland) notes to piano". You won't find the sheet music in English, but the notes are the same no matter what language you speak. ;D  I'd like it to be noted that this song has been around for a long  time now (1933) and since then it has gone through several spelling and name changes changes. Gif Challenge!

Wow. Okay, so I got a lot more of a feedback than I was expecting on that challenge, and some of those questions, eep! ;) However I promised a gif response, and here we go! It's About Time...For an Update!

Goodness I expected to blog so much more after I got married because I thought my life would slow down. Nope, I was wrong. XD Heelloooo blog readers! Long time no see! So, where to begin on updates? Right after our first kiss! Rifka and Lina! Lucas and I got married on February 2nd and have now been happily married for eight months to the day. We have moved once since we've gotten married and have acquired two new family members---Rifka our Karelian Bear Dog/Shetland Sheepdog mix and Lina, our crazy tri-colored tabby with far too much energy for a normal cat! Over the last eight months, I have been sick with the flu, mono, and countless colds and sinus infections but since seem to be on the rise with better health, a huge praise! Lucas was promoted at his job and is now a foreman, and enjoys making jokes about how unbearably hard and cruel of a foreman he is. (Lucas being bossy is the farthest thing from his personality as could be humanely possible.) Lu
