Moi! The Liebster Award!

It's true! I got the Liebster award again from the very kind Faith P at Stories by Firefly!

Thank you Faith so much for tagging me. :) I am not very good at doing these but I shall try my best! So here we go...

The rules for the Liebster Award:
Link back to the person who tagged you.
Answer their 11 questions.
Tag 11 bloggers.
Ask them 11 questions.
Let them know you've tagged them.

1. What is your personality type?
I’m an ESFP, Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving. Believe it or not I only scored slightly extroverted above introverted, most people who meet me wouldn’t guess that but if you get to know me better you usually discover I have a sensitive, quiet side I only show to those I really know. I feel a need to be the happy one for everyone else. :) But on the Feeling over Thinking category, I scored an 89% feeling over thinking. Uhm yeah. ;)

2. What part of writing a blog post takes the longest for you?
For me the writing part is the easiest. It’s getting the pictures that take the longest!
Pretty much all pictures I take seem to be about Bodie. ;) What can I say, he's my boy! <3

3. Would you rather smell fresh-cut grass or campfire smoke?
Grass. I hate smoke with a passion now, thanks to the bad fire seasons for two years in our state. Gosh I can’t stand smoke now, I get scared when I smell it. ;)

4. What's the last song you listened to? (And did you like it?)
Hmm… it was actually Marukaite Chikyuu Rossiya, and it's really, really random. I do like the song, actually, because I find it humorous and because I like to pick up all the Russian words I know in it. :)

5. What's the last movie you watched? (And did you like it?)
I just watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and yes, I did like it. It was the first time I saw it and I enjoyed it. I’m not a sci-fi person in the least so to watch such a thing and enjoy it is a surprise for me. I really liked all the characters.

6. What's the last book you finished? (And did you like it?)
Winter is Coming: Why Vladimir Putin and the Enemies of the Free World Must be Stopped
Yes that’s the actual title and subtitle. And yes, I did enjoy it. I can’t say I agreed with everything in the book but it was a great eye opener to a lot of the political issues in Russia that most people don’t know about, as well as what’s really going on there currently “behind the scenes” and written from the perspective of a Russian. And yes this is what I read for pleasure, what can I say I'm a big time nerd. It seems I barely have time for fiction anymore, I practically only read nonfiction.
7. Do you have a reading goal for this year?
To finish up my economics study on Russia (which will take a LONG time because it’s a huge, huge book and there are a couple other ones that may need to accompany it) and finish:
I Found God in Soviet Russia
Getting to No: How to Break a Stubborn Habit
 The Ronald Reagan Diaries

And pretty much any other book I decide to pick up. Even though my reading goals seem small, take in the fact that I am reading any book I happen to pick up anywhere that suits my interests. And that's quite often. ;)

8. Would you rather use a pen or a pencil? If you chose pen, what color of ink?
Pen, actually, because it just flows nicely. And I usually use black ink but I have been known to use six pens while taking notes in church just so I can switch out my colors. ;)

9. What's your favorite historical time period?
PLEASE DON’T ASK ME THIS! AUGHHH! Okay Cold War, because it encompasses 1948 to 1991 and I would even boldly venture to say into 2016. ;) Please don’t kill me for saying that but if you noticed the similarities and the historical patterns between today and the past… yeah.

10. Describe yourself in one sentence.
I am an adventure-loving extroverted high energy historian, writer and world culture lover, and though I may not seem like I’ve got a lot of brains I actually have a deeper side to me than you will ever know right off the bat, so don’t pass me off as crazy! ;) It’s one sentence. ;)

11. Do you enjoy tags?
I do, actually, so long as I don’t have to post pictures with them. I’m terrible at taking pictures. :P But be proud of me, I actually did it this time.

And since EVERYONE seems to have already been tagged, I have taken the easy way out and have tagged these good friends of mine:

You done been tagged, girls! B-)

So here are your eleven questions! And these are for anyone else who would like to answer them.

1. If forced to choose between dirty water or sour milk, what would you drink?

2. We're under attack by the enemy! (Whoever that may be) What do you do?

3. If in a dystopian, what role would you play- soldier, spy, heroine, beggar or villain?

4. You are being sent to another country to spy on them but don't know the language. Do you
a) wing it so as not to compromise your mission or
b) find an interpreter but risk having a double agent on your hands?

5. What would you do to a double agent?

6. Weapon of choice?

7. Thoughts on Christian fiction and the need for improvement/no improvement?

8. A giraffe has asked you to tea. Would you decline or go?

9. What would you bring to a tea party with a giraffe?

10. Explain your favorite thing about Christ in one word.

11. You have been chosen for an award and have just been ushered in front of a huge crowd to make your speech! Except you don't know what the award is for or what you're supposed to say. What do you do?

Okay that's it! Hope you enjoyed, my dear readers! Thanks again Faith for tagging me!

P.S. Moi means "hi" in Finnish. :D So I was literally saying "Hi! The Liebster Award!" ;)

  1. Fun!
Aww, Bodie is so cute! <3
Ugh. I don't think I could read any books like Winter is Coming. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night... O_o
Oh, believe me Emily. I don't think you have any less brains than I do... ;)

    1. Uhm... thank you? ;) And the book isn't really that scary, but it's thought provoking and somewhat disturbing over some things. He doesn't go into all the detail over some of the events that have taken place.

Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for reading! Moi moi! ;)

    2. Hmm...you're right, I guess that wasn't much of a complement, was it? ;)
That's the thing I don't like much. The disturbing stuff... :P
      Haha, yep! Moi moi! ;D

    3. I was joking about being like you, I like being like you! ;) We can be same together! *Cheers*
Ehhhh yeah I do not do well reading disturbing stuff either, yick. It scares me. I am one of those people who is realllyyy sensitive so no, I don't read disturbing stuff. "Winter is Coming" is right on the edge of that I suppose.

*Timo the Finn waves* Moi moi! ;) After all he taught me that. :P

  2. ESFP's are AWESOME. B-) I found an awesome quote for ESFPs and posted it when I did the Liebester Award: "Admit it: Life would be boring without me". It's true. :)
I may answer your questions anyways... You always ask the funnest, randomest (and yes, I know those aren't words. Whatever.) questions out there! ;) Do you mind?

  3. Getting animals to pose properly (AKA - the way we want) often calls for a lengthy photoshoot. ;) Then I think I have tons of good pictures, and I actually delete most of them for one reason or another. ^_^
Oh, forest fires are terrible. We're having a really dry spring, and there're several fires that aren't very far away!
I'm loving all the answers to 'describe yourself in one sentence'. ;) So many almost run-ons!! LOL. ;D

Thank you so much for doing the tag, Emily! I loved reading your answers! :)

    1. Pictures are hard! Especially because I don't have the right camera for it. I just take them. ;) I never expect them to turn out nice.

I hope your fires burn out soon and you aren't threatened by them. I pity you, I hate fires. :(

Thanks for tagging me and I'm glad you enjoyed!

  4. Haha!! I think I'm the opposite of you Emily, I can get the pictures, thinking of what to write to go with the pix is the hard part for me! ;)

And I agree with Megs, Bodie is really cute! :) (I hope calling him cute won't insult him!)
