Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, everyone! He is risen! Christ the Lord has risen today, and He has saved us from our sins and lives on in heaven, waiting for us there and all our brothers and sisters in Christ! I hope your day is blessed and focused on why we celebrate- our Lord and Savior who has sent his only son to die for us and who has risen from the dead. We are saved by grace through faith and it's not by ourselves, it is the gift of God!

I wanted to share with you my favorite Easter video of all time. <3 I think this video just really hits the point of Easter on the head, with the help of several little children.

God Bless and may your day be wonderful, bright, and happy! Also enjoy the ham, if you eat that sort of thing. I used to tease my Jewish-Christian friends that, "Praise God that He is risen, He saved us from our sins and abolished the law, so now we can eat ham!"
It was a joke they thought was funny. (They followed old testament law about not eating pork and things like that, so we used to tease each other about being "heathens" and stuff like that. It was great. ;D)

May the Lord bless you today and may we never forget what Easter is about- our wonderful Savior. <3

      Yummy pork! Haha, funny thing is we had steak instead of ham this time. ;) We're going to actually celebrate Easter another day because little sister R is still in the hospital, so we're waiting until she's out to actually celebrate it. After all, everyday we live out the Resurrection because we're saved!

I promised you all I would let you hear the real Russian song, Polyushko Polye, so here it is! in Crylic it's  Полюшкo Поле. Earlier I got a request from one of the readers for the sheet music because she couldn't find it online, so it you would like to find the sheet music you have to write in Russian полюшко поле ноты для пианино, which literally translates as "Field my field (or meadowland) notes to piano". Gif Challenge!

It's About Time...For an Update!

Goodness I expected to blog so much more after I got married because I thought my life would slow down. Nope, I was wrong. XD Heelloooo blog readers! Long time no see! So, where to begin on updates? Right after our first kiss! Rifka and Lina! Lucas and I got married on February 2nd and have now been happily married for eight months to the day. We have moved once since we've gotten married and have acquired two new family members---Rifka our Karelian Bear Dog/Shetland Sheepdog mix and Lina, our crazy tri-colored tabby with far too much energy for a normal cat! Over the last eight months, I have been sick with the flu, mono, and countless colds and sinus infections but since seem to be on the rise with better health, a huge praise! Lucas was promoted at his job and is now a foreman, and enjoys making jokes about how unbearably hard and cruel of a foreman he is. (Lucas being bossy is the farthest thing from his personality as could be humanely possible.) Lu
