I-6: The Mornellys- Meet The Characters

It had been debated, argued and fought over as to who would be the one to do the post regarding us Mornellys. Our friend, Emily McConnell, insisted it had to be one of us that should do the post, as the stories are about us and she really has no control what happens. In all honesty I do not see why she couldn't do it herself, but I respect the fact that she is the owner of this blog and therefore I respect her wishes. Amongst the siblings, after much lost sleep over the matter, it was elected I would be the one to explain who we are. I was given over twenty reasons as to why I should have to take care of the details, including the fact that yes, I am the oldest. So I am now stuck with the responsibility and plan to fulfill my role dutifully.

My name is Aichear Mornelly. Aichear is not my real first name, but you would not be able to pronounce nor read our names in original Asieopian so we changed our names to ones that sounded close to the real thing. You say my name as "E-har", and for those of you wondering the origin, we picked our names from old Gaelic in Ireland. I am the oldest of the six Mornelly siblings, and at thirty years old am the head of the family. Our parents died a couple months apart. Father died from heart failure six months before my Mother did. Mother died after giving birth to my little sister. I am a scholar in many studies and enjoy learning, mapping, exploring and understanding other cultures. I am also very passionate about helping those who need help, and will do whatever I can to take care of the needs of those who are needy. The younger siblings have proclaimed I must include one strange fact about myself, so it is with some sheepishness that I admit I have a very fond liking for peanut butter. I will eat it out of a jar and can eat it anytime. So there is my strange fact.

Bran Mornelly.

Next in line is Bran Mornelly, my twenty-seven-year-old brother. You pronounce his name like you read it; "Brawn".
He is our social, lawyer-like, attentive brother, and back when we were in Asieopia attended to all the family matters and parties we were supposed to participate in. He appreciates our family nobility far more than I do- in Aseiopia we held the titles of Dukes, our sister being the only Duchess in the family.
Bran is very smart, has a lot of head-knowledge and can find a way through any argument, detecting fallacy of any kind within seconds of meeting someone. Perceptive and bold, he knows how to navigate and deal with people far more than I can or care to. He is very good at business dealings and has a level head. His hobbies include studies of any sort, law, debating just about anything, studying people and their habits and mingling with royalty. He very much likes to talk to people that challenge him, and see if he can keep up with the high figures of society. His strange fact is he will argue with someone over something he knows them to be right about simply so he can prove to them that their argument is invalid, no matter how right they are.

Breandan Mornelly.

After Bran is our brother Breandan Mornelly, who is twenty-five. You say his name like it is spelled as well; "Bren-dawn."
Of all of us, Breandan is the most cool-headed and laid back. He is very easy going and a peacemaker, stepping in to represent the younger siblings if he feels they are being treated unfairly, but siding with Bran and I if he thinks they're getting out of hand. He keeps everyone together and is a good sort of man to be around. Though he prefers to stay out of fights he can get in some good punches if you get him riled enough. Most of the time he joins in a brawl simply because he thinks it would be fun to do a bit of roughhousing. He loves the outdoors and will spend many days out in the woods, wandering around and hunting. He enjoys cooking, farming, gardening, hunting, exploring and anything outside. He loves to create all sorts of wonderful dishes, and you either find him outside or in the kitchen. There is no in between for him. One strange thing about him is he loves country music. Why he finds that sort of thing tasteful, I have no idea. But that is his passion and we are painful aware of it- he plays his country tunes all day long.

I believe three of us is good enough for now. I will introduce you to my other three siblings tomorrow. Thank you for putting up with me this far.

NOTE FROM EMILY: Thank you, Aichear, for doing this post! I would just like to add in real quick here that the reason I'm having Aichear do this post for you all is because I have a new series of stories coming out about him, his brothers and his sister. After Aichear finishes introducing all of his siblings, I'll began posting the first story for you to read. Hope you're excited! More character spotlights coming soon! (I'll get to the Red Crisis character spotlights soon, I promise!)

    1. I'm glad you're excited and Aichear says thanks for the complement. He doesn't like accepting praise very much, so he wants me to reply to all the comments. ;) (That's Aichear for you- he's factual but he prefers not talking about anything personal. ;D)

    1. Aichear says thank you and I do, too! :D Like I told Jesseca, he's somewhat self conscientious and doesn't like to accept compliments because it embarrasses him. So I'll do the replying for him. ;)
      Thanks for commenting!

    1. Aichear says thank you. :) Again, like I said to the other girls, he has a hard time when people compliment him because he gets embarrassed. (Like, literally, while I am reading out these comments he's standing here, getting red in the face, and clears his throat and tells me to say thanks for him. ;D) So I'm doing the responding for him.
Thanks for commenting! Come back tomorrow to read more! :D
