The Room Remodel!

Image
So this is going to be a short, short text post because I'm in the middle of writing a speech for this Thursday, (I am the guest speaker for the Sons of Norway  organization here in our area! SQUEEAAAAAAAALLLLL and freaking out! ;D) but since I finally finished decorating my new room, I thought I'd share pictures of it! Basically I got moved to the basement with sister A and we're loving our new room. :) We had to do a lot of remodeling to get it done, but thanks to mom and dad we're in here and we enjoy our decorations and bedroom and everything! So a tour of my room, hope you enjoy. Also please forgive the pictures, they're a bit bad quality. I don't have a good camera. :P  DUN DUN! Entrance to our room!

A Dedicating Celebratory Concerning Event

Image
Originally this post was going to be dedicated to my favorite hen, Twinkie, who passed away in her sleep yesterday. Then I got my Mornelly book back from my editor with exciting news. And after that, it became apparent something was seriously wrong on the horizon when I looked out the door and saw smoke billowing up behind the hills where we live. So this is a three way post, called a "Dedicating Celebratory Concerning Event". It's a dedication to my favorite hen, a celebration of the fact I get to start once more working on the Mornellys, and a concern because, well, there's three fires all around us. Okay so let's start with Twinkie.

The Movie Tag!

Yes, kill me if you wish. It really did take me this long to get to this tag. I'm afraid I have such a hard time getting around to these. XD However I finally got to this one, and if I recall right the honor goes to Rebekah Eddy from Rebekah's Remarks for tagging me in this. So thank you, Rebekah. Now here we go. The Rules: Answer the questions Tag 3 to 5 people 1.Who are your favorite actor(s)? Tom Hanks Ooo this is a difficult question. Hmm. Tom Hanks, for one, known for his voicing Woody in Toy Story and also playing as Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks and is the protagonist James Donovan in Bridge of Spies.

What hasn’t been in America and was very busy? *Drum roll* *Pause for dramatic effect* *Put in 'read more' gadget to make you get really excited*

The Grand Glacier Adventure!

Image
Or, seeing how I am in fact friends with The Most Excellent Gerhard: "Zhe Most Excellent Glacier Adventure! Ja! " That's right, folks! This girl went to Glacier over the weekend, which is why I didn't respond to your lovely comments on the Mornelly story. (You can check those out, now. I did respond.) :) I loved the trip and had such a good time! We didn't see any bears or really much wildlife at all, though I saw one buck in the park. I did see a buffalo on the way up there, 'round Flathead Lake, Montana, but it was in someone's field so I'm pretty sure he was owned. ;) However, the trip was amazing and beautiful and I loved it. I took lots of pictures of our entire adventure! I hope you enjoy them. :) I have to admit, the highlight of my trip was going to Scandinavian  Affär , a really cool Nordic store in Sandpoint, Idaho. I bought soooo many Nordic things, hehe. I will post pictures eventually of our newly remodeled basement, where my sister A
