Gif Challenge!

Image
Wow. Okay, so I got a lot more of a feedback than I was expecting on that challenge, and some of those questions, eep! ;) However I promised a gif response, and here we go! For those of you who aren't sure what's going on, a quick recap: Everyone left questions in the comments section. I answer with gifs in a blog post. Cool, now that we've got that cleared, let's begin with these hilarious questions. ;)

Life Updates, Gif Challenge, Mweh

XD Greetings, dear blog readers! So... *Hangs head in shame* As you may have noticed, I have already broken one of my New Year's Goals. I didn't write a blog post every week. I didn't post last week. However I feel this was a little justified, and so I'm not going to beat myself up over it. Last week was a bit crazy for me, as is my life in general right now, but I won't go into that at the moment. In short, though I didn't get a blog post up in time last week, I am determined it is nothing that will spot my record on my New Year's Goals and I will just keep trying my best to post once a week.

NaNo Make-Up!

Image
That's right, people. You read this post correctly. My good friend Ivy Rose and I are hosting a NaNo makeup, where you can set your own word count and join us from January 15th through February 15th and get some writing done! My New Year's goal was to write 500 words a day, so I thought, why not try to get a lot of that knocked out early? After all, you can never write too much. ;) Per suggestion by my friend Ivy, we decided to partner together and get some writing done. For there is no better encouragement than having a fellow writer slave away  work beside you to reach a goal. So if you want to get some extra writing done before camp NaNo in April, join us! We have a group hangout chat that Ivy has set up to discuss what we're working on, pitch ideas and just have some regular ol' fun. We are using  My Write Club  to keep track of our word counts. If you would like to be added to the group chat, you can email Ivy through her website or myself through my blog

The Cossack's Fear: Part Three

Image
Part Three In which our three young Cossacks discover the dreaded Andrassy Borisovich is real. “Everyone! Everyone, help! I saw Andrassy The Red Soldier!” Katyusha snapped her head up as Benny Andersen came running into the schoolyard, his eyes wide and breathe coming in short, quick gasps. His hands were shaking, he looked like he’d seen a ghost. Everyone crowded around him, demanding what was going on. Did he say what I think he said? Katyusha had to turn her back on the crowd of schoolchildren and try to smother her giggles. Andrassy the Red soldier, ha! Her wild tale from two days ago was working better than she’d thought, now they were seeing Andrassy in the streets!

That Time of Year

Image
It's here again. Another winter. Another month. Another year. When you struggle to remember to put down "2017" instead of "2016" on your schedule. When a new year of fresh possibilities awaits you. When you reflect on the old and think about what you would have changed. When you consider the new adventures that you have planned, the goals you've forged for yourself.
