The Manuscript Came!

It came! It finally came!

"Extremely dangerous, keep out of reach of children. Cool!" ;) Not really. Just quoting.
Love the word size!

Of course I had to compare it to my Russian economics/cultural book I'm reading and...

Mornellys is bigger! Though technically that's just because mine is size twelve font with double spaces. And don't worry the real book isn't going to look that daunting. More on that in a sec.

I was super excited! Anddd I'd just gotten up so ignore my hair. :P

So big!

Legacy is about the size I would like for the Mornellys, so this comparison is just to let you guys know it won't be so big and awkward for you to carry around. It will be a nice 6x9 size. :)
I am so excited! I've already edited two of the stories and am going through the rest of it before I hand it off to my editor. Of course I just recently discovered the em and en dashes and their uses... so now I have to add all of those in there where they go. Rats. Oh well, that's why I have until November to get this all done. ;)

And while I'm at it, I wanted to show you dear readers why I chose the names of the Mornellys, how they're pronounced and what they mean.

First box is how it's spelled, second is how it's pronounced, third is English spelling and fourth is pronunciation.

Hope you're as excited as I am! Information for email subscribers: I am now going to have to just email you when I make a new blog post because the email gadget has stopped working. 5. Can I please just say that this is amazing?!?! I'm sooo excited and happy for you! I cannot wait to see the final product!

Also, the thought of Cirian being an Irish saint is just ... priceless. Seriously, that made me laugh so hard. I think the actual definition of the name fits him much better. ;)

And, augh, all those different dashes! I had a couple of my beta readers point out that I wasn't using the correct ones in different places in The Silent Blade. And I only have until mid-May to change them all. Enjoy your time and be happy you figured them out early on. ;) They're a pain to have to go back and fix a month before it's supposed to be finished.

    1. BWAHAHAHA you get the irony of Ciaran's name! Yes he's no saint, part of the reason his name is so fun. :)

Yes the dashes are evil. :( I wish I had known about them earlier. Oh well I guess that's how we learn, right?

Thank you so much for your support, Jesseca, it means the world to me! <3
