Horse Catch Up

Okay, I should have posted this a LONG time ago. But here it goes.

A quick overview of the last three weeks with Bodie. . .

We went to our first competition:
Cantering back from the California Stake!
Barrel racing!

And got fourth, third and third place in barrel racing, speed barrels and California stake! Needless to say- Bodie actually isn't competitive. He was kinda "ladida" about the whole thing. I had a lot of fun with him though. :)

Also, I went on another trail ride with my neighbor and her horse Rusty. We rode up to a mountain. It was a fantastic ride and view!

On the road again!
Down the trail we go...

There's Canada!

The view of the North from horseback.

Mountains ahead!

On top of the mountain!

My friend and her horse, Rusty.

Look how far down everything looks! To the left you can see a large lake.

Rusty photobombing a picture of Bodie and I. ;)

Aww! Nothing like a woman and her horse. :)

Rusty is so cute in this photo!

Bodie and I next to the fire lookout on the mountain.

More trail...

Trying to get Bodie to pose for a picture, but he kept falling asleep.

. . . and grazing.

On our way back home. For some reason Bodie was having fun licking the trailer. Strange horse!

I found a pair of sunglasses on the trail. My friend and I were having fun pretending I was some dude girl. ;)

Needless to say- I've been busy. B-)
Thanks for looking!
